Stuart Dunk and Sonny Gohel have been appointed to the senior team at Morpheus. Gohel joins the bridging lender as head of operations, bringing more than a decade of experience in the specialist lending space to the role. He joins Morpheus from KHK Capital, where he was responsible for managing an underwriting team. Dunk joined the firm earlier this year as finance and treasury director, after spending six years as group financial controller at US-based private equity backed and technology data company, Stats Perform.

Tandem Bank has appointed Neil Chandler as its new chief executive officer. The firm said that he brings a wealth of leadership, banking and technology experience to the role, after spending over three decades in senior banking, eCommerce, retailer finance and technology roles. He joins Tandem from Aion Bank, where he served as CEO. In his time at the firm, he led the sale of the bank to UniCredit Group.

HSBC UK has cut its financial advice fee to 1% as part of its promotion of premier customers. The bank redesigned its premier proposition earlier this year, which included the reduction of the minimum asset threshold needed for customers to access its premier investment management service, from £250,000 to £100,000. It comes after HSBC UK launched a new banking app for its 15 million customers, which includes a new interface and a range of new money management tools.
