Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS) has promoted Kate Marlow to the newly created role of head of surveyor development. She joined the provider of property risk management and valuations in 2004 and has held a number of roles across the business, including chartered surveyor, managing surveyor, regional operations manager and regional director. As part of the new role, Marlow will provide support to new and existing surveyors at CSS. Her responsibilities include co-ordinating the aftercare programme for newly qualified surveyors, development programmes for existing surveyors, training days, conferences and the valuer forum.

Rosemount Financial Solutions (IFA) has confirmed that 2024 was the “most successful year” in its history. The network enjoyed 25% growth over the year, setting new company records in a range of area, with growth of 33% in its protection business. The firm said that the record-breaking year was a continuation of its annual results, which have grown by over 56% over the last five years.

Gatehouse Bank has introduced a series of changes to its range of buy-to-let (BTL) purchase plans. This includes the launch of a 5% fee option on two- and five-year fixed term BTL products for UK expats and international residents, which is available to individual applicants as well as UK-registered SPV Limited companies. This option allows customers to make an advanced payment in exchange for a lower rental rate, with the minimum finance amount starting at £75,000 and rates starting from 5.05%. It has also significantly reduced the minimum amount on its 3% fee option across all BTL products, available for UK residents as well as UK expats and international residents.
