Vida appoints new director of marketing

Vida Homeloans has announced the appointment of Iain Gibbons as director of marketing.

Gibbons will report directly to CEO, Anth Mooney, and will join the firm in the Autumn.

A senior marketing professional with over 25 years’ experience in the industry, Gibbons has held senior roles at McCann-Erickson, Virgin Money and Thomas Cook Money, and joins Vida from Wesleyan, where he was group marketing director.

He replaces Nick Allen who has been with Vida since its inception in 2015.

Vida CEO, Anth Mooney, said that Vida remains “relatively young” as a company and is at an “important and exciting time” in the development of the business.

“Iain’s appointment is key to our growth strategy and will help us to deliver on our business plans by implementing effective and creative marketing campaigns,” Mooney commented.

“His extensive experience and expertise will drive our communication initiatives, helping to build our brand awareness and move Vida to the next phase of our journey. I look forward to working with him.

“I would like to thank Nick for his diligence over many years. He has done a great job, helping to create the distribution capability and communications platform we enjoy today. Nick will leave the business later in the year following a handover to Iain, and I wish him all the very best for the future.”
