Scott McAllister has been appointed as senior recruitment manager at HLPartnership. The appointment comes as the firm looks to strengthen its sales and recruitment team and reinforce the network’s focus on supporting member firms with business growth and recruitment. McAllister has worked in a number of senior roles across the mortgage and financial services sector, and joins the firm from PRIMIS Mortgage Network, where he worked in dual positions as national recruitment director and regional sales director. In his new role, he will work closely with HLPartnership’s appointed representative firms to help them expand their businesses through targeted recruitment strategies and regional support.

Nationwide has reduced rates by up to 0.18% on selected products for new and existing customers. As a result, its first-time buyer three-year fixed product starts from 5.21% at 95% with no fee, while its two-year fixed rate with a £999 fee is available from 4.09% at 75% LTV. For existing and new customers moving home, rates have been reduced by up to 0.16%. Its two-year fixed at 90% LTV starts from 4.52% with no fee and its five-year fix at 95% LTV is available from 4.81% with a £999 fee.

Twenty7tec has appointed Sophie Holloman as its new national account manager. She joins the firm from Legal & General, where she worked as a key relationship manager. As part of her new role, Holloman will be responsible for managing key firms, utilising Twenty7tec’s RESEARCH module and major distributors to help drive adoption, strategic alignment and additional value through the firm’s full suite of products.
