Acre announces integration with Halifax

Intermediary platform Acre has partnered with Halifax as part of a move to allow brokers to run decisions in principle (DIPs) directly through the platform.

The integration will bring the percentage of residential cases in Acre that can be directly submitted via an API to over 50%.

Acre said the new partnership will gives its brokers more freedom and flexibility to secure the right product for their clients. Brokers can now source Halifax products and instantly submit verified application data all within Acre’s platform.

“Our mission to modernise the homebuying process means bringing all stakeholders – from the broker to the lender – on the digitalisation journey with us,” said Acre founder and CEO, Justus Brown.

“This new integration with Halifax is a significant step for us in becoming the go-to technology that brokers need to achieve the right mortgage from leading lenders for any client first time, every time.”

Head of strategic and technology partnerships at Halifax, Frances Cassidy, added: “Reimagining the home buying process involves finding new ways to make it as smooth as possible for brokers to work with us.

“Acre’s innovative approach to simplifying the mortgage journey reflects our own commitment to rethinking and digitising how people buy homes. We are thrilled to be collaborating with Acre and look forward to developing a long-term partnership.”
