Fleet Mortgages appoints Gateway Surveyors as panel manager

Fleet Mortgages has announced the appointment of Gateway Surveyors as its panel manager with effect from 1 April 2021.

Gateway, whose quality management service is fully ISO 9001:2015 accredited, also acts as panel manager for several other lender clients.

Fleet Mortgages chief commercial officer, Steve Cox, said the lender had selected Gateway following a “robust review” of its valuation requirements.

“The careful management of our valuation process is a crucial and integral part of our business for brokers, customers and funding partners, and we have been particularly impressed with Gateway’s attention to detail, personal touch and its commitment to risk management,” Cox commented.

“We look forward to working with Gateway’s experienced senior management team to deliver a high quality service in the buy-to-let sector.”

Gateway chief executive, Pete Hughes, added: “We are delighted to have been selected by Fleet Mortgages to provide its valuation and panel management services. We are a director-led business that is committed to providing an exceptional level of service.

“Our appointment reflects the progress we have made in becoming a major provider of panel management and valuation services to the UK lending industry.”
