Foundation has made a series of enhancements to its residential credit criteria, designed to support borrowers with historic credit issues.

As part of the changes, the intermediary-only specialist lender has streamlined its credit tier criteria by reducing the number of tiers to three, whilst also widening access for borrowers who are rebuilding their finances and may not fit the requirements of mainstream lenders.

Under the revised criteria, Foundation can now consider unsatisfied CCJs and defaults that were registered more than six months ago, accept debt management plans across its F2 and F3 ranges, and no longer has limits around unsecured and revolving credit.

Allisons Financial Planning has become the latest mortgage advice firm to go live with JammJar, adopting the AI-powered operating system to help transform the way its advisers and support teams manage clients and cases.

The move will see Allisons use JammJar to bring people, processes, communication and data together in a single system, with AI at the heart of the mortgage advice journey.

Tandem has announced a number of senior leadership changes as it accelerates a new investor-backed strategy focused on sustainable finance.

Simon Bowen has joined the digital challenger bank as chief risk officer, bringing over 25 years of risk and finance transformation experience, most recently as CRO at Hodge Bank. He has also held senior positions at Lloyds Banking Group and Principality Building Society.

Natalie Trist has also been appointed as director of credit risk strategy, also bringing 25 years of experience, having held positions at HSBC, Close Brothers, Secure Trust Bank and Vanquis Banking Group.

Tom Tredwell has joined Finova as director of data to lead its next generation data strategy.

He joins from Shawbrook Bank, bringing more than 20 years’ experience across the mortgage industry, specialising in data, reporting and analytics. His career spans entrepreneurial start-ups and established financial institutions, including serving as a founding shareholder of The Mortgage Lender before its acquisition by Shawbrook Bank.

His appointment comes as the cloud-based mortgage, savings and lending software provider looks to developer its next-generation data strategy to respond directly to growing demand form its broker, lender and saving provider customers.

Roma Finance has appointed James Parker as operations director.

He joins with a wealth of experience across mortgage operations, commercial strategy, relationship management and business development over his 30+ year career. Prior to joining Roma Finance, he held the role of chief commercial officer at Computershare Loan Services.

Parker has already played a role in the execution of a number of key strategic initiatives.
