Gatehouse Bank has announced a rental rate reduction of 0.18% across its range of five-year fixed buy-to-let (BTL) purchase plans for UK expats and international residents. The changes apply on all standard and green five-year products, including those for customers seeking finance for HMOs and MUFBs. Gatehouse accepts applications from individuals as well as UK-registered SPV limited companies. The bank’s range of green home products offer a reduced rental rate of customers acquiring or refinancing a property with an energy efficiency of A or B. Following the reprice, rental rates on BTL purchase plans at 5.88% for UK expats and 5.89% for international residents.
Vernon Building Society has launched a new range of mortgages designed with young professional homebuyers in mind. The new will help qualified professionals borrow in line with their future earning potential rather than their current salary, supporting a variety of professions, including doctors, solicitors, teachers, engineers, accountants and other regulated or specialist roles. The range consists of five-year fixes at 4.59% and 4.74% at 80% and 85% LTV respectively with a £999 fee. Its two-year fix is also available from 4.59% and 4.79% at 80% and 85% LTV respectively, with a £499 fee which offers no early repayment charges up to 25% overpayment.
Stance Asset Finance has appointed Cherrice Baffana as a broker manager, ahead of the launch of its founders club members next month. Her appointment follows that of Alex Fowler, who was appointed as broker development manager in December. Baffana is joining Stance, which is the new asset finance brand from United Trust Bank, from Metro Bank, where she worked for the last eight years, with the last four years serving as business development support in its asset finance division. In her new role, she will work with brokers and relationship managers to support the launch and development of Stance, helping to drive business growth and establish long-term partnerships.
