StreamBank has appointed Lorenzo Satchell as its new account director. Before joining StreamBank, Satchell held senior sales leadership positions within bridging finance, and was involved in proposition development, team leadership and strengthening broker relationships nationwide. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with brokers and internal teams, building a clear understanding of how to support complex cases in time-sensitive markets.
Saffron for Intermediaries has launched a new large HMO buy-to-let (BTL) product, designed to give brokers greater flexibility when supporting experienced landlords with larger, more complex HMO portfolios. The new product has been developed to support higher-yield HMO strategies and removes common constraints. The launch means that brokers can place larger HMO cases with loans up to £m and no maximum number of bedrooms, greater flexibility for experienced landlords operating more ambitious, complex HMO strategies, and a broader criteria to including student lets and both personal and limited company ownership. Saffron said the product builds on its BTL enhancements announced last month, which expanded limited company options across a range and introduced a new standard HMO category.
Philip Ryan has been appointed as corporate sales director for the East and West Midlands at Together. In his new role, he will be responsible for growing the lender’s brand and promoting its specialist products to clients and professional introducers in the regions. Ryan, who has almost two decades of financial services experience, has joined after more than seven years in corporate sales at Bank of China. He previously worked for Western Union International Bank as a corporate hedging manager and was responsible for the structuring and marketing of hedging solutions designed to mitigate client risk.
