One Mortgage System integrates Land Registry search into platform

One Mortgage System (OMS) has announced that it has integrated the Land Registry search facility into its CRM system.

The move will allow users to seamlessly gather relevant information about registered property or land in England and Wales.

Information that users can access include title registers to see who owns the property or land,
title numbers which is the unique number given to a property or piece of land, as well as a title plan, which is the property or land’s location and boundaries.

The Land Registry search facility also allows users to obtain copies of a title register or title plan, and obtain a bankruptcy search on the client.

OMS covers product areas such as residential, buy-to-let, second charge, equity release, bridging, commercial plus general insurance and protection. The firm has integrated with six platforms – Iress, Twenty7Tec, iPipeline, Submissions Brain, SmartrFit and Knowledge Bank – to provide users with product sourcing, protection sourcing and criteria searching.

“The Land Registry search facility offers access to some important records which can help brokers collate relevant information to successfully package a case upfront, rather than potentially having to deal with a string of enquiries from lenders down the line,” commented OMS managing director, Neal Jannels.

“Being able to easily access this from within the OMS platform also means that all the relevant information can be stored in one place without users having to waste time and energy searching through different files and opening new browsers. Our aim is to make OMS the one-stop platform for brokers and these types of integrations will help make this journey a reality.”
