Perspective Financial Group acquires Prosser Knowles

Perspective Financial Group has announced the acquisition of Prosser Knowles Associates for an undisclosed amount.

This acquisition, Perspective’s largest to date, will add approximately £400m of assets under advice to the group.

Perspective also confirmed that the move will add two office locations in Gloucester and Droitwich to the group, as well as 27 staff including several individuals who will be taking up group roles at Perspective after the integration.

CEO at Perspective, Ian Wilkinson, said that the deal is an “important moment” for the firm.

“In Prosser Knowles and the team, we have found a firm that is culturally aligned and built on the same client-centric philosophy as Perspective,” Wilkinson commented. “We remain a whole of market financial planning firm at heart, and we hope and expect that both the clients and staff of Prosser Knowles will benefit from being part of our group in the long run.

“To support future expansion, we will be retaining both offices and establishing them as new regional hubs. We are pleased to welcome our new colleagues and for us to build an even stronger future together.”

Perspective’s head of M&A, Sam Ward, said: “To be able to attract a firm like Prosser Knowles to Perspective demonstrates the strength of our proposition to like-minded firms of any size. Our partnership model allows firms like Prosser Knowles to become part of a larger organisation whilst retaining the culture and client relationships that have driven its strong performance to date, alongside sharing in the upside of continued growth.”

Managing director of Prosser Knowles, Nick Aston, added: “This move supports our continued growth and ensures we can maintain exceptional service for our clients. Perspective is a partner we trust to safeguard our clients’ interests and future.

“We have worked hard to ensure clients continue to receive the same high-quality service from the same trusted team in our Droitwich and Gloucester offices, and early feedback has been both positive and supportive.”
