Saffron Building Society announces Brilliant Solutions partnership

Saffron Building Society has announced a newly formed packager relationship with Brilliant Solutions.

The distributor will increase Saffron’s access to mortgage brokers and allow advisers who have clients with complex needs to access more tailored products.

Saffron’s products that Brilliant Solutions members can now access include the society’s self and custom build range, with ERC free products available for rebuild, renovation and conversion projects, as well as a self-employed offering which accepts applicants who require up to 90% LTV with one year’s trading.

In the buy-to-let (BTL) space, first-time buyers and first-time landlords are accepted across all of Saffron’s products including in expat, personal name and limited company ownership.

Head of business development at Saffron, Tony Hall, said: “We’re thrilled to be joining Brilliant Solutions’ panel. It is renowned for its deep broker relationships and has a long and established reputation as a key player in the complex lending market – which fits well with our adaptable lending solutions proposition.”

Sales director for Brilliant Solutions, Michael Craig, added: “We have worked with Saffron as a mortgage club for some time now, and it has become more and more apparent that with its niche look at lending and brilliant proposition the two businesses go hand in hand within our fees free packaging department. We are very much looking forward to working with Tony and his team with this new venture.”
