AMI, PFS, IMLA, and the MAB sign up to judge Mortgage Awards 2018 from MoneyAge

The Mortgage Awards 2018 from MoneyAge is delighted to announce a number of high profile industry names on its judging panel with more to follow.

Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) and Association of Finance Brokers (AFB) chief executive Robert Sinclair will appear on the judging panel. Sinclair helped establish the AMI as an independent entity on 1 February 2012. He joined the former parent trade body, AIFA, in October 2006, initially looking after the Association of Finance Brokers and since 2008, AMI. He looks after the day-to-day running of AMI and AFB by delivering member information and services, lobbying regulators and policy-makers and developing press relations.

The judging panel will also consist of Personal Finance Society (PFS) head of professional development Lee Travis. Travis was appointed as head of professional development with the PFS in 2015, after serving over five years as CEO of SimplyBiz’s New Model Business Academy. His financial services career spans over 18 years and has held roles as a financial adviser, mortgage broker and building society manager.

Adding to the panel is Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (IMLA) deputy chairman Louisa Sedgwick. She is also director of sales for mortgages at Vida Homeloans.

Mortgage Advice Bureau CEO Peter Brodnicki will also add expertise to the judging process. He has been CEO of MAB since 2001 and has overseen the business grow to become one of the UK's largest and most respected networks and mortgage brands.
