Vida launches new build and speedy remortgage propositions

Vida Homeloans has made improvements to its new build proposition and introduced a speedier remortgage process by allowing conveyancers to use its no search indemnity insurance.

On new build, Vida has extended its mortgage offer period from four to six months and removed the need for a re-inspection to be carried out prior to completion.  Vida also has a dedicated underwriting team in Skipton, North Yorkshire, to ensure that new build applications get the priority they need. If the build overruns, offers can be extended by up to a further six months.

Vida has also announced that for remortgages, all conveyancers on its panel can now benefit from the use of no search indemnity insurance, including on portfolios, HMOs and MUBs. This results in a quicker process and much lower costs to the customer.

Vida Homeloans director of sales – mortgages Louisa Sedgwick said: “If we can offer solutions which save the customer time and money, then that is the way forward for us at Vida.”
