Short Brexit extension ‘will be possible’ but ‘conditional on positive vote in HOC’ - Tusk

European Council President Donald Tusk has said he believes a short Brexit extension ‘will be possible’ but only on the condition that MPs pass Prime Minister Theresa May’s deal in the House of Commons

However, Tusk added that ‘questions remain’ over exactly how long the extension may be and stated that an extension ‘poses questions of a legal and political nature’.

EU leaders are expected to discuss a possible extension tomorrow.
