Gable Mortgages joins Paradigm Mortgage Services' lender panel

Paradigm Mortgage Services has added Gable Mortgages to its lender panel, providing its member firms with access to the lender’s range of zero-deposit, residential mortgage products.

Gable Mortgages is a new-to-market lender focused on providing mortgage options without the needs for a traditional deposit, with its products available in England and Wales to both first-time buyers looking to get on the property ladder.

It also supports next-time buyers who may not have sufficient equity in the existing property to fund their next move.

The lender currently offers two five-year fixed-rate, 100% LTV residential purchase products, covering both existing properties and new-build homes.

Gable’s standard zero-deposit product is available on existing and second-hand properties and comes with a 1% product fee, which cannot be added to the mortgage. Its new-build zero-deposit product is available through Own New and participating developers, with no product fee payable by the customer, while new-build flats and additional financial and non-financial builder incentives can be accepted.

Gale works exclusively through mortgage intermediaries, with Paradigm member firms able to register directly with the lender to access its products.

Managing director of mortgages at Paradigm Mortgage Services, Richard Howes, stated: "Gable has entered the market with a proposition specifically designed to address these issues, and its 100% LTV options give our member firms another route to consider for clients who have demonstrated they can afford their mortgage payments but do not have access to the deposit that would normally be required.

"We are also pleased to see the additional affordability available for key workers, alongside criteria which can support a wider range of residency circumstances. These are areas where access to different lender criteria can make a genuine difference to an adviser’s ability to find an appropriate option for their client.

"Providing our member firms with access to a broad range of lenders and criteria remains central to the Paradigm proposition, and Gable brings something different to our panel at a time when the industry continues to look at how it can support more people onto, and up, the housing ladder."

Mortgage operations director at Gable Mortgages, Lisa Crane, added: “We’re delighted to partner with Paradigm Mortgage Club as we bring Gable’s new 100% mortgage to its extensive community of directly authorised advisers. Paradigm’s strong lender relationships, whole-of-market reach and commitment to practical, technology-enabled support make it an ideal partner for this launch.

"Together, we can give advisers another valuable solution for first-time buyers who can afford the monthly repayments but have been held back by the challenge of saving a substantial deposit, helping more customers take a confident step onto the property ladder."
