Lendlord has launched a new tenants app, which is designed to streamline the way in which landlords and tenants communicate. The app will enable Lendlord users to provide their tenants with access to a personalised dashboard where they can view property documents, including EPCs, gas safety certificates, right to rent documents and more. In addition, tenants will be able to track their payment schedule and make in-app payments, as well as report maintenance issues and communicate with their landlords using the app. Landlords will also be able to onboard new tenants and generate an AST agreement instantly using the platform.

Alternative Bridging Corporation has cut rates on its alternative overdraft drawdown product by 0.10%. The product provides a flexible loan facility which delivers funds on 24 hours’ notice, allowing borrowers the opportunity to repay or reduce funds to match their needs. It is available for two years and provides multiple drawdowns on demand, which can be repaid or redrawn repeatedly, with interest only being charged on the outstanding balance and can be serviced. The approach avoids expensive, repetitive setting-up costs and can be used for site acquisitions, property auction purchases or to fund work in progress. Loans are available from £250,000 to £2m and the facility enables under-utilised assets to be used to finance new investment.
