OMS launches protection referral partnership with The Insurance Surgery

One Mortgage System (OMS) has announced a referral partnership with the specialist protection broker, The Insurance Surgery.

The partnership aims to streamline referrals for OMS users with clients requiring specialist protection advice, while introducing a direct integration between the two businesses.

In a single click, relevant client information can be securely transferred to The Insurance Surgery to support clients with more complex protection requirements.

It also forms part of the CRM and loan origination platform’s wider strategy to create a more connected adviser ecosystem through partnerships that improve efficiency, strengthen customer outcomes and simplify the advice process.

Head of marketing, sales and partnerships at OMS, Jodie Andrews, stated: "The most successful brokers are increasingly building ecosystems around their businesses, combining their own expertise with specialist partners who can add value in areas outside their core proposition. Protection is a natural example of this, particularly as clients continue to expect broader, more joined-up financial support.

"Technology should make those relationships easier to manage. By creating stronger links between firms and reducing manual processes, brokers can access additional services for their clients without creating additional work for themselves."

Managing director at The Insurance Surgery, Andy Mellor, added: "We’re delighted to partner with OMS and make specialist protection support even easier for advisers to access. OMS have been incredibly proactive in getting this integration in place, and it’s a really positive step forward as we move one step closer to bridging the accessibility gap in protection and helping more clients get the cover they need, whatever their circumstances."
